GBP fighters going back to HBO was clearly too much for Espinoza. Now he's in full ****** mode.

Notice how you pointed out other fights from HBO but failed to mention fights on showtime that were very good. You could care less about mismatches-unless they are on Sho and involve fighters managed by Al Haymon.

You can do as you please, just stop pretending that you truly are a fan that is angry about mismatches. If you were, you wouldn't be justifying them on only one network.

it really is funny when you think about it. not the 77th ranked jr welterweight, but the 77th ranked freaking lightweight.

          19-3. 3 knockouts .
          you can't make it up.

True, there is no excuse for Danny v Salka being made. that said,do we judge fights by how they are on paper and not what happens in the ring.

If we do, Cool. Where is the outrage for Manny v Algieiri? if not, and we judge it solely on the fight, the fight was a mismatch as many expected.

I legitimately feel bad for anybody who pays $10 a month for Showtime, with this guy leading things. You're getting robbed big time
I legitimately feel bad for anyone who complains about $10 a month. You do realize showtime does have shows and movies also.

But it does make me think how a pure boxing channel would do.

algieri is definitely not a popular manny opponent.

algieri at least beat a decent fighter in ruslan provodnikov. rod salka is the 77th ranked lightweight on the planet. lightweight. #77. there's no comparing him to algieri. algieri is a joke fight for manny, given that it's on ppv, but it's much less of a mismatch.

how can you defend this fight?

"wait for the fight, don't judge it on paper" sounds like rhetoric intended to defend the fight, just so you're aware of how it sounds.

showtime is actually closer to 20 a month. they give discounts, give away free months to people when they join, etc.

if you have HBO and showtime, and pay the full $20 a month, it's close to 500 a year.

over 20 years, that is close to 10 grand just for two TV networks.

Use the search function, there's plenty of criticism for Manny-Algieri as there should be.

                      Please. Golokin-Geale was a mismatch?

Even you don't believe that. Come on now
