yeah 4corners made an excellent point about the talent at TR in and around the weight. But history tells me that Bob isn't going to push for a Mares/Donaire fight if he doesn't think its good for Nonito who makes him more money.

the norm with TR is Juanma/gamboa, rigo/nonito, leonard/hearns etcetc.

i kind of doubt mares would leave golden boy, but if it happens that would be great...hopefully arce prices himself out again and then they can try and make donaire vs mares, assuming mares beats moreno. it would definitely be better for mares to become a free agent or join top rank because he'll have more opponents to choose from.

dude , you said top rank has history of not making fights yet all of the examples you provided were bad.. floyd and bob both did'nt want the fight but thats another story
