Would the Clottey double ear punch count as a foul?

Being able to fight dirty sounds very valuable based off your story
I think some are so good that they just let it slide. There's some smooth ones that wouldn't even know when looking.

That's true...I forgot about that...but I don't really think it was as much as a dirty shot as a mindless mistake that could have really cost him (which is why I don't think he did it with bad intentions).

I think dirty is low blows...head butts...elbow...shoulders...stepping on the foot. I've see Hopkins hit a guy in the cup when he knew the ref couldn't see...not hard enough to drop the guy which would make it obvious...just enough to hurt and distract the guy but not stop the action...and then smile at the guy afterwards gloating because he knew the ref missed it. That's dirty...but it's a crafty dirty that takes a lot of experience to pull off and technique.

Cleanest fighter I've seen has got to be Andrew Golota.

LOL...Andrew Low Blow Golota. I don't know if it was as dirty as just plain stupid. He just couldn't control himself.
