Well my bro and cousin were hardcore skateboarders. And I don't know if you know who Darrell Stanton is, but when he moved here to Houston, I was the first person he was cool with. I didn't even know he was a skateboarder.
I used to let hm barrow money for lunch, and to ride the Metro bus (public transportation bus).
It ends up he was a PRO skateboarder, and we began to chill more and more and more. All my friends were skateboarders, and thats how I got into the the long hair.
I would get clowned on in the gym, they would call me "Curls".
I didn't act odd, but I did look out of place. I was the 6ft, boxing, wannabe skateboarder, that had Sideshow Bob hair, and glasses, that was a bit ******ish and listened to rap and System of a down.
I was all over the place.
