    tito
    vargas
    mosely twice
    hopkins
    floyd
    manny

all pretty much at their peaks,,,,,

people can say he should have lost to pernell and sturm, but if you want to take those wins away, then add on the tito win and the mosely rematch win.....

All in all, oscar fought a helluva schedule, and i havent even mentioned, ruales, gatti, mayorga, genero, chavez twice, leija, molina, paez,

The ike-oscar fight was super close as oscar faded from rounds 6-11 but pulled out a huge 12th round,,,,,

Whether people like it or not,, oscar fought everyone, never dodged big event type fights, and always took the big challenges,,

floyd wont even think about going to 160 for serg or ggg,,, let alone ****ing hopkins

oscar fought 3 legit p4p #1 guys in manny, floyd, hopkins,, plus tito, pernell and shane were all p4p fighters when he fought them

I wish all fighters had the balls of oscar,,, win or lose he took the big fights
yea,,,dlh fought some great competition. he fought most of those guys at or near there peaks unlike floyd who would wait for them to deteriorate

85% based on what? Nearly getting KO'ed by a washed-up Wilfredo Rivera? Getting tagged and hurt by a complete no-name? Vargas was done as an elite fighter after the Tito fight.

The Tito-Vargas fight is a prime example of a KO damaging a fighter badly.

Vargas was rarely hurt before that fight and after it seems he could barely take a punch.

Those names look great on paper but quite a few of those were cherrypicked fights.

And when he fought Hopkins and Floyd they were win-win situations.

He took a hellacious beating in that fight. And I believe that left hook that dropped him for the first time in the 12th cracked his chin forever.
