Me personally, I pick Star Trek.

I think it clearly is the more intelligent franchise, With deep and meaningful episodes, it can also add in good action and comedy with the drama, but overall it's just the more mature product.

Star wars (the first 3 at least) are good fun, but the actors (other than ford) suck balls, whereas Star Trek boasts such heavyweights as Patrick Stewart and Avery Brooks!

I enjoy Star Trek

but Star Wars is one of the best works of fiction ever. Star Wars was my entire childhood. It's one of my proudest accomplishments that my grandma is George Lucas' neighbor.
