Just like Vitaly is past prime now. He is not shot but not in his prime. And, a past prime Vitaly is still a damn good Vitaly.

And, Lennox was also out of shape. But, it really doesn't matter cuz at the end he won that fight.

Of course there is a difference. However, fighters suffer injury and keep on going. Vitaly suffered that nasty cut where eye was going to come out of his socket and he was still willing to continue. Chris Byrd is not a puncher at all. Vitaly IMO could of sucked it up(like other fighters and he himself has done) and kept on going and not worry about anything with Byrd and would have won that fight. But, no he lost and that is all there is to it.

You look at his resume and he has suffered a lost against the best fighters he has faced. All the fighters he has beat are not better than Byrd or Lewis. And, he didn't get robbed in either.
Technically its true that he lost to Byrd and Lewix and those 2 guys were arguably the best 2 fighters on his resume but from actually watching those fights you have to read between the lines and see that those losses were not because he was dominated or not the better fighter.

Excuses out the window he lost.

Yes, just like Lewis's knockout losses were legit.

Fair enough, but he does have legit losses so to say he is unbeatable is nonsense.

Whats dubious about vitali quitting in his corner against chris byrd? Other than a ko,I cant think of a more decisive victory. Not byrds fault Vitali didnt want anymore.

These klit lickers are hilarious post-fight.They fight some outmatched opponent, dominate them in boring fashion and somehow theyre the greatest all of a sudden.Vitali needs to go fight someone with a pulse before we start ranking him up there. His legacy will always be losing to a rusty, well past it,out of shape Lewis.

Nobody is unbeatable cause too many things could happen in a fight, but the way Vitaly has manhandled his opponents in wins and losses is pretty astonishing.

Vitali hasn't beaten anyone in his 100-year career, bottom line. What's his a faded Sam Peter? Give me a goddamn break. Are there any real boxing fans out there?

Yea I see what you're saying but who else should he be fighting? Him and Wladimir have fought just about everyone at or near the top.

Can we stop talking about Wladimir and Vitali as if they're one person? They aren't. Wlad is thisclose to being a HOF'er. Vitali is just another champ.

Haha and those near the top are rubbish so what does winning really mean on face value very little , this is worst era for HWs in history , beating bums and washed up fighters is not a stamp of greatness , 12 rds with a washed up Briggs who was average even at his best lol , man what the truly great HWs in history would do to them .

Im not sold on the Lewis being past prime theory either his last fight was about a year earlier but he dominated and he didnt fight after the Vitaly fight to show that his skills were eroded. Maybe he just ran into a guy who made him look bad and if he would have continued to fight lesser guys he may have maintained his dominance.
Past prime lewis beats a past prime vitali imo.'a prime lewis beats a prime vitali 7/10. Both gve trouble to every hw atg
