The point of the post you're replying to was that if The Powers That Be exist they are consolidating control through policies that are put forward by both left and right.

The rider forces the USDA to allow continued planting of any GMO crop even if legal challenges to it's safety are underway in the courts...Blunt admits he worked with Monsanto to help craft the wording of the bill.
