in a perfect world he needs a tried and tested trainer, but can he change trainers that fast without a warmup fight? it would be extremely hard for him to just switch trainers to someone new.

banks is good copying and training wlad under the steward tactics against smaller guys or complete bums and they have been effective, against a taller guy who can move its been proven to completely be lacking, it will be very interesting to see how banks does with whyte against aj, if whyte fails or fails big time, i can imagine a large majority of the boxing public writing him off completely as a trainer.
Frankly? in my humble opinion...pinning this on Banks is like the knight fighting King Arthur in Monty Python, after Author lops off his sword arm the black knight states "come in its only a flesh wound." Yeah just a small abrasion, just replace the corner guy, fight on....

Vlad has a great relationship with banks, he can't really make sudden adjustments in the ring... How is another trainer going to help that process?

Some fighters are very coachable. A guy like Holyfield for example, who can box when asked to do so....But guys like Vlad, haye are not adjustable. they have particular methods that they rely upon.

Wlad blasts plenty of HW's out early, especially one's with chins like Fury.

Saying Tyson Fury is more skilled than Wladimir is downright ridiculous. Wlad stands well above him in every skill department. Footwork, punch technique, delivery, set-up, defence, ring generalship....that's before we get to the athletic department in which Wlad is faster, better conditioned, stronger, agile - he is literally better in all aspects.

Fury is big, slow, heavy footed and lacks big power. He's simply been feasting on small, crap HW's. Wlad will annihilate him.

Wladimir is clearly faster, both in terms of hand and foot speed. Fury is not fast, at all. In fact, he is clearly heavy on his feet and generally slow.

He has absolutely nothing to offer against Wlad and will get taken out as fast as Pulev. All the points I have on Wlad knocking him out and exposing him for what he is, average at best.
              Bruhhh these are so funny!

Klitschko was in survival mode in the Championship rounds, now that irony!

                    • You know, the most amazing thing about Fury. He actually is super light on his feet for such a enormous man. He was playing games with Klitschko in the ring, stunning!

Who would of guessed he'd outbox Klitschko at his OWN game at Germany? Besides Thurman cheers bro

It's clear however Wlad is not what he used to be, but he'd still beat just about anyone in the division.

Fury vs Wilder baby! Most exciting heavyweight fight of all time
