dwight howard has a great fg % is he a top shooter?
lmao at PLAYOFF 3P% comparison. kobe has taken double the 3 point shots MJ has. also a lot of MJ 3 were open, while kobe was always well defended far out.
those missed 3's during jazz playoff game his rookie year drove kobe to work tirelessly on his shot whereas it took mj years to develop a decent 3 game.
you gotta watch to judge not just look at numbers.
kobe is a superior shooter to mj. he just takes a lot of bad shots that kill his pct.
mj had a way smarter shot selection. kobe's stupid fadeaway, double covered 3's.... jordan would never take those.
that says more about his decision making in taking shots, MJ didn't need to take those double covered 3's, he's smart enough to take shots that were more proficient
Kobe never shot above .047 in his entire career, how can you say he's a better shooter than MJ?
you cannot penalize MJ for taking smart shot selections while praising Kobe for taking BAD shots throughout their career

But it's like people forget Kareem won 6 rings, 6 NBA MVP's, 2 finals MVP's, won titles with two different teams, 10x All NBA 1st team, all time scoring leader. 17 seasons averaging at least 20 PPG, was consistent for a long long time.
Kareem is the clear #2 in my book.
