  • NASA to Announce Mars Mystery Solved" Monday at 11:30 AM ET

NASA has announced that on Monday they will reveal a mystery about Mars that they've recently solved and from many reports, this is big. This reveal will come during a livestreaming press conference NASA has put together for late Monday morning. The very notable names in the scientific community attending that conference suggest that this is a whopper of a reveal.

"Mystery on Mars," just putting those three words together have alien enthusiasts, UFO enthusiasts and the scientific community alike waiting with bated breath over what this solved mystery will reveal. To add even more drama, there’s an entire weekend to get through before this mystery announcement comes to light. This leaves plenty of time for speculation running the whole gamut of solved mystery possibilities.

According to The Heavy on September 26, it seems the front-runner of theories today is that scientists at NASA are about to announce they’ve found water on Mars. Some are speculating flowing water has been found or maybe even an ocean under the surface of Mars has been discovered.

According to NASA.gov, the press conference will go off at "11:30 a.m. EDT on Monday, Sept. 28 at the James Webb Auditorium at NASA Headquarters in Washington. The event will be broadcast live on NASA Television and also on the agency's website."

The announcement doesn't sound generic or common place in any way. NASA has released a statement which includes; “NASA to Announce Mars Mystery Solved.” The announcement goes on to say that a “major science finding is going to be revealed on Monday at the NASA headquarters in Washington. It will be followed up by a brief question-and-answer session,” according to The Heavy.

This announcement’s real clues are found in who will be leading the press conference. These are the top people in their fields and they include: "Lujendra Ojha of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Jim Green the director of planetary science at NASA, Michael Meyer the lead scientist of the Mars Exploration Program, Mary Beth Wilhelm of Georgia IT and NASA’s Ames Research Center, and Alfred McEwen of the University of Arizona in Tucson."

Of course the speculations are both scientifically based along with some that seem to be pulled out of science fiction movies. Some are waiting for the announcement to share that they’ve found intelligent life in those red hills, while others are suggesting life in a small, microorganism-type finding.

Back in 2012 NASA had reported they were about to offer an earth shattering discovery and the reveal was suddenly down-played into the discovery of two-mile thick polar ice caps. Some thought the discovery that was made back then was something they suddenly decided to keep under wraps and the polar caps were revealed in their place.

This time around the scientists they’ve brought together for a conference that will have a question and answer period does sound like something very big. To tune into this press conference live, you will need to go to NASA Television, the link is above in this article. This livestream format of the press conference should be tuned into earlier than the scheduled time as it may take a while for your computer to load, depending upon your Internet speed, suggests The Heavy.
