I don't get it, for a guy that supposedly landed 200+ punches in the fight, not a single punch could get to that cut that happened quite early. A cut that happened due to a an accidental clash of heads.
Are people really dumb enough to believe the punch stats? All I saw Maidana doing was throwing 6 to land 1 while getting countered in the process. The majority of the punches he did land against the ropes were rabbit punches to the back of Floyd's head, watch the replays, clear as day. The commentators on the other hand made it seem as if Maidana was landing at will.
The fight somewhat close but not as close as people make it out to be, clear win for Floyd. After that cut those competitive rounds turned into Maidana getting schooled. Seems to me people were losing their **** because Floyd actually got hit.
