Waiting for the College Football Season to End before they roll out bigger match ups clearly. Going head to head with College Football is not wise. Notre Dame vs Clemson Football game CRUSHED Matthyss vs Postol and Broner vs Kabib. Also ESPN can't show boxing during the College Football Season because their schedule is too full which is why fighters are back on Showtime during this time. PBC will pick up again I'm sure. It is a lot of Saturdays in a year to show boxing without having to go against a Power House like College Football.

I remember when
- Espinoza was going to get fired
- When the Mayweather deal was going to put Showtime in the red
- When Haymon was really a drug dealer
- When Pacquiao was really the A-side
Now it's Haymon presented no real plan except waste money but these gullible suits gave him $400m anyway and are sitting on the sidelines watching him waste it

Word in the industry is that the purse on many PBC fights( especially for B-sides) are coming back down to reality #boxing

Then again, what they're paying to DeGale ($3.5mill) is insane.
Otherwise, a horsed face Brit with a disgusting ghetto London accent aint getting that much to fight in N. America.
It was obvious PBC was going to fail. You can't just put up the same subpar fights and expect to make the same money as on HBO or Sho.
Haymon could've made it work. All he had to do is tell the refs, there is a strict anti clinching policy, they should deduct points. All of a sudden you have all action affairs.
With this one change in rules, you'd also make inside fighters like Porter into big stars. Porter would've whooped Brook, if Brook wasn't clinching for 80% of the fight.
Porter Brook was legit one of the biggest clinchfests of all time.
