It's even come from the mouths of many republicans who have admitted there's a disconnect there when it comes to specifically the youth and women.

You add the nonsense that comes out of the mouths of republicans, and you get a bad image that is perpetuated.

I mean, even NJ Gov Christie got slack for just shaking hands with Obama, and working with him in the storm relief. I mean, when you can't even shake hands with the president, that's just shifting so far right it's absurd.
I don't think the Republican party should be heeding advice from you. The best thing they could do is take everything you say and do the exact opposite.

Now (and this is for anybody in this thread to read, no you)...the real problem with the Repub. party is that somebody who really is a Republican...meaning that they want small govt, free enterprise etc,...they don't wanna be there (in govt). That's why they're not running for office. Most of the time...the ones that are running are phonies. They get there and quickly become corrupted by Washington because they wanna stay there.

The govt is great for Liberals/Democrats/Socialists...they love it. They think the govt is the greatest thing. They think that they're there to make our lives better, they don't trust the Free Market... so Politics works for the Left. And they can be honest about it for the most part. They can do exactly what they promised. They promise more govt, get elected, and they give more govt. BUt the Republicans, they promise less govt. but then they too deliver more govt. It's not easy selling that "if you elect me I'm not gonna give you a damn thing and btw, that Deficit & Debt adding program you may like so much, has got to go."

Ideally...There should be no such thing as a career politician. Ideally, we want Private Sector Capitalists taking a break from their real careers to go to Congress, serve for a few years and LEAVE!! Like jury duty, you don't wanna do it but you have to. Not stay there indefinitely. That should be the Republican Party. And knowing that the rules and regulations they write will be waiting for them once they go back to their real jobs in the private sector...unlike the life long, career politicians who don't have a clue.

Well, you can start with the whole feminism being about victimization bit, for starters. I'd love to hear your views on that one and why you agree.
