  • Free Market vs Resource Based Economy Debates

IMO these are good debates of both sides that argue for Free Market/Capitalism or RBE(some form of technological system that has some socialism in there).

I side with the RBE because I just believe the free market system has an extremely high predisposition of being corrupt. Alot of free market people like to blame the state(government) but fai tol realize the state is just a tool that the private citizen or citizens uses to gain an advantage over its competitors. THE FACT THAT THE FREE MARKET CREATES AN INCENTIVE TO GAIN ADVANTAGE OVER OTHERS FOR SELF PRESERVATION AND THAT ADVANTAGE CREATED STRETCHES ALL THE WAY TO USE MURDER, CORRUPTION, THRASHING THE EARTH, ETC IS JUST TOO MUCH BAD **** IMO.

This is my problem with the free market

Too many videos posted for a thread topic [3 hours worth at that]...not watching that. With one novice like paragraph of your own. Not the way to open up a thread topic.

No rebuttals on why we should still keep the free market system despite it having a STRONG PREDISPOSITION OF BECOMING CORRUPT???

You can throw out how it was the best system way back in the days but with all the technological advances today the free market capitalism is possibly obsolete now.

I seriously encourage all of you guys to check out the debates.

The first one was great and the second one got a bit messy but I believe both sides had some good points but in the end I felt RBE was the better way to go.

Free market,is the best way to go. It does need to be regulated but for the most part free market is the best system.. Where it goes wrong is when the corporations have gotten so big, that their is no dispersal of wealth. My dream economy would be like how we have now but make rules that restrict vertical and horizontal acquisitions, and honestly corporations do have a role in society, I don't think anyone is against having an apple or google, it's just that everything seems to be corporatized these days.. I wish there was more family runs businesses..

That's a fallacious question that doesn't merit a serious answer. Here...since you like videos so much, I've got one for you that is much shorter and concise. Explanation of Free market Capitalism for dummies.

                    Enjoy.
