  • Andre Dirrell's "Neurological" Issue May Magically Disappear In 3 Months...

    From the Detroit Free Press:

"Dr. Shah said Andre would have to be three-months-symptom-free before he would ever consider clearing him to start sparring again," Lawson said. "We need Andre to go through a healing process. Let it take its course before we begin thinking of boxing."

So he went from talks of retirement to possibly being cleared to spar and carry on boxing by January. That would be a modern day medical miracle...

If he does start boxing any time within the next six months Showtime will probably consider investigating the matter and take actions to sue him for breach of contract if it's found that he was faking it. He will also probably be blacklisted and banned from any future Showtime events. For his own safety of course.

His symptoms also may not disappear and he will never fight again, but hey if it makes you feel better to pretend he's ducking a 7 figure payday carry on...

Somebody mentioned and I think it may have been one of these boxing writers that Dirrel did this so he could go fight on HBO. But how can that be when HBO sent his lame ass in another direction?

Are you people serious? This is what he's been doing since the Abraham fight most likely, every few months he gets re-evaluated to see whether he is still experiencing symptoms or not. He clearly has been, to have to pull out of the tourney. No fighter gives up huge paydays and risks what Dirrell would be risking faking these symptoms.

Let them live in their fantasy land where common sense and empathy do not exist. Their lives are only about themselves, and any chance their entertainers don't do exactly what they want they slam them even if their lives are in danger.

Bro, I know Ward is getting all these advantages by fighting at home. But even without that factor, it's well documented by every knowledgeble boxing insider that this fight was never gonna happen because these guys would rather show man love to each other than get in the ring and fight. Not even a big payday would get these guys to man up. They are punk ass divas in every since of the word.

risk what? the fight didnt even have a venue.
yeah, im sure he was periodically sneaking around, going to see neurologists on the low without even his trainer or anyone in his team knowing.
his trainer said it all. he hasnt been doing sht this entire time. not even when this fight was scheduled for september. thats why hes walking around the heaviest he's ever been.
