  • Comments Thread For: Otto Wallin Signs Long Term Deal With Sauerland

Team Sauerland is delighted to announce the signing of Otto Wallin. The Swedish heavyweight hopeful has inked a long-term deal with Europe´s biggest boxing promoters.

The 22-year-old southpaw has joined fellow countrymen Erik Skoglund and Anthony Yigit in Berlin to train under the guidance of coaches Karsten Roewer and Torsten Schmitz. “We are thrilled to add Otto to our team,” promoter Nisse Sauerland said. “This could be the beginning of a very special story. Sweden once had a great heavyweight champion, Ingemar Johansson, and we have a long history of building future champions. We helped Nikolai Valuev to become the biggest and tallest champion of all time. We have turned Robert Helenius from a successful amateur into a superstar in Finland. And we currently promote WBA Heavyweight Champion Alexander Povetkin and European Heavyweight Champion Kubrat Pulev. So Otto will get a lot of good sparring.”
