What they really should have done was avoid the main threat in their weight class for 6 years, then juice up with an illegal IV to fight him when he's past prime before "retiring" by running from Berto for 12 rounds.

Because that's what real champs do.

First off, why is this even news? Some strength and conditioning coach who's done weights with a few pro boxers stating the obvious is not news worthy.
Secondly WTF is a Yapper?
Thirdly, anyone on the planet would chew their right arm off to get the chance to fight Floyd for $100mill, so why the hate for Connor? If anything the hate should be towards Floyd for coming out off retirement to fight a guy who has never fought in a pro boxing fight!

You're forgetting Conor was scheduled to fight RDA, the champion at 155. He pulled out and Conor stayed in to take a short notice opponent, who had a totally different style, and he didn't even bother making weight so Conor fought him at 170. It back fired on him. The point is that Conor didn't target Diaz. Diaz was a name that came up last minute and he accepted. He probably regrets it now but he made a lot of money so who knows.
