The contract is anything but made. period. when you are negotiating you'll ask for a higher piece of pie so you have wiggle room for compromise and bargaining. now imagine you are dead set stone on 50%, that is ****ing it, can't compromise a higher amount than that. people in here need to get a clue and stop writing nonsense
debating who deserves the bigger piece is another topic. that's not the scope of this thread. what this thread is about is how and why these talks of 60-40 surface. this is more of a battle between promoters/negotatiors and not the boxers themselves (more has to do with which promoter can subdue the other)
