  • So nobody wants Gennady Golovkin

He is signed to fight Macklin, Sampson Lewcowicz has already said twice that Martinez will fight Golovkin if he beats Macklin, now Curtis Stevens said what most sensible boxing fans already knew "Ain't nobody scared of Golovkin" and called him out for a fight.

Once you gain that popularity, you'll realize you are not feared like you thought and you have a bunch of names lined up wanting to fight you. So GGG fanboys, stop with the 'nobody wants to fight him' crap. All he needed to do was what every one was saying all along, stay busy, keep fighting anyone and he will gain popularity and every one will want to fight him.

Why do Flowmos/Broneheads have it in for Golovkin?

We'll see if Martinez actually fights him. After all, Quillin ducked Golovkin and said later he wanted to fight him.

Props to Macklin. He stepped up, and I'm glad. Curtis Stevens is even lower down the ladder than Golovkin, of course he'd be willing to fight anyone with a name.

Why in 9 out of 10 posts you have to mention Floyd or Broner or the fan base, regardless if the subject has nothing to do with either of them

Sh-tty ass poster with crappy posts. F-cking troll.

Absolutely. The titlists are hesitant to fight GGG, but the contenders definitely wouldn't decline a fight with him.

He was ducked and avoided like the plague. Macklin stepped up to the plate. If GGG wins hopefully Sergio will too.

So "nobody wants to fight him" is false then. Because nobody means zero guys. Titlist don't always=better. In MW's case, yes, the titlists are actually the best in the division, but it's not always the case.

Just to add another guy who said he'd fight Golovkin, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Those are the two biggest stars in the MW division both willing to fight Golovkin. Quillin? He doesn't matter right now, he is still trying to bring his name up. He's good, but he's still on the come up IMO.

Saying they'll fight someone obviously isn't equal to fighting them. Quillin will never fight Golovkin as long as he's stuck on Showtime and Golovkin is backed by HBO.
