        Sure it is possible, hell sitting close to the ring you can end up covered in bodily fluids so in the ring that has to be even more likely.

        So now while it may not be a sure thing, how much chance do you want to put on contracting HIV over something dumb like that.

                  I remember reading a article that the virus does not get destroyed within seconds as they once thought. I think it said about up to 30 seconds.
