And trust is a subjective term. I trust that he is more than likely not going to go the Obama route and want to raise Capital Gains taxes on everyone, while hiding behind "Oh I just want to raise the income tax on the rich a few percentages". I trust that he is not gonna wanna implement regulations left and right...as badly as Obama and co. want. I trust that out of the two, he is more sympathetic towards Free Market Capitalism and Small Govt. being the solution
    .
i'm not going to sit here and try to convince you of anything. you can vote for a guy who says one thing today then the opposite 4 weeks later, if you want to.

all i know is i won't be voting for soetoro who wants to destroy this country. or a guy who will just slow the process (romney).

No they're not. That's one of the main tenants of Libertarianism. Anarcho-Capitalism, Austrian Economics.

I guess there is a misconception amongst some of our young Libertarian cause supporting Americans. That raising taxes, spending is ok....but that's it's all about Legalizing drugs and ending the wars. NO. Economics and Big Govt. getting in the way of it comes first.

Suit yourself. We'll just have to agree to disagree. Although I'm glad you acknowledge and agree with me that Romney would slow down the process.

Look at all the Communists and Socialists. They're not rolling out their Ron Paul-ian candidates to talk about "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" right out in the open. They're electing a bunch of impure "moderates" or outright liars. They want to impose their view on America gradually, step by step without anyone even noticing it to the point that Bush-era "Capitalism" is the new norm.

That's what the other side needs to do....except in the opposite direction. If the public doesn't want (or is too stupid to know any better) small govt and real Free Market Capitalism...we'll just have to force feed it to them through attrition. i.e. The Ryan healthcare plan just as one example.

If history has taught us anything it's that this country will never embrace a third party candidate as anything more significant than a mere oddity.

Funding of small govt. candidates with the best chance of getting elected in Congress and Presidency. Keywords: best chance of being elected. Gary Johnson has no chance of getting elected because his platform is too honest and too easy to pick apart by opposition...if he ever were in contention, which he is not.

Which means funding Republicans who have signed the Tax pledge for one, which is a starter. Any R.I.N.O that has impure thoughts of raising taxes gets pimp slapped back into the line by Grover Norquist. .

For the sake of Free Market Capitalism, you have to do it the Mitt Romney way. Tone down your rhetoric and play ball and even lie about your plans.....which is what Rand Paul has learned,, unlike his Dad...who attracted all the wrong crowds anyway...most being nonconformist, Anti-War and Pro-Marijuana Lefties.

Honesty doesn't get rewarded. Any mention of killing off the dumb, poor and ******ed or throwing granny off the cliff should be done in private (I'm paraphrasing of course).
Seriously. Don't Libertarians pride themselves on being rational? How is voting for Johnson rational, in pursuit of Libertarian goals? Genuine rationality is about choices...that is, if it has anything to do with the real world.

I was a Ron Paul supporter, I'll be voting for Gary Johnson in November. Everyone keeps telling me that I'm just throwing away my vote, well I'd rather throw away my vote than my country...

you'd be throwing away your vote if you voted for someone you didn't believe strongly in. that would be a wasteful and meaningless vote imo...
