Don't break Filipino hearts like this...they still believe any fighter who doesn't run into the middle of the ring and swing wildly until a KO is a "coward runner"...they can't handle this much boxing education in a single thread.

well, ofcourse tito punches harder but like you agreed its' the punch that you could not see coming that hurts the most..with tito, it's his hooks that dangerous and for a guy with pea's IQ , he could see that coming...pac does not telegraph his punches, that's the diffrence...

You know that old myth about Willie Pep winning a round against Jackie Greaves without throwing a single punch?

In the case of Pernell, I actually would give him a round without throwing anything : His defense was just that spectacular. You gotta admire a guy who could stand right infront of you, dare you to hit him, and then make you look foolish for even having the audacity to try.

          WTF are you on?

          Trinidad didn't telegraph his punches.

Admit it : You don't even know what it means to "telegraph" a punch, do you? You just heard Jim Lampley mention it once, and you remembered it, because it makes you sound smarter, didn't you?

"Seeing it coming" sure didn't help Vargas, a guy about 20 lbs naturally heavier than Pea take that hook, did it? Or Mayorga? Or Joppy? Whitaker had a steel chin.

all of a sudden you wanna quote me?.lol..telegraph means diffrenetly for each fighter depending on the opponents ring IQ and with the ring IQ of a sweetpea, it would be telegraph to **** back and throw hooks...for a vargas type of ring IQ , ofcourse it'would'nt be telegraph...common ****ing sense...

Trinidad's right hand was actually very compact and sneaky, regardless of your skill level. And Pacquiao doesnt really have the most erratic punches ever, many skilled fighters have been able to figure out his straight left and right hook without too much difficulty.

It still amazes me how Trinidad ripped apart Joppy. Joppy may not have been the best fighter around, but he certainly wasnt a creampuff when it came to taking punishment. Even 6 or 7 years after getting knocked out by Trinidad, it took Lucian Bute 10 rounds to Joppy away...And Bute is one of the best offensive fighters in boxing today, not to mention hes 168lbs.

vargas aint no sweetpea.....vargas could see a punch from a 100 miles from a power puncher and still would get dropped....

the topic is now why sweetpea did not get hurt vs a more powerful puncher but would if he fights a less but still a power puncher....that would be becuase of the punches you dont see coming , like i said before...

Pacquiao by decision Whitaker's feather fist can't keep Pacquiao off. Pacquiao throws 100 punches a round and wins an easy decision.

                      .
i did not say otherwise....the fact is pac is way more unpredictable than tito was...thats why he could throw more punches that you could not see coming...
