  • why cant boxers rely solely on their skills and natural physical strength?

Today we have boxers who claim to be the best ever but then in the same sentence demand unfair advantages and resort to childishness gimmicks and tactics hoping to gain an edge and advantage over their opponents.

We have boxers who claim to be the best in their division but refuse to fight outside of their hometowns, negations have to be everything their way.

We have fighters who are held as the unified champs of their division but they fight no one but tune ups and drag up fighters in weight that are ranked 77th in like 3 division below.

Can we really call fighters like this the best of the division or the best ever, when they use outside influences/favors/tactics/ to manipulate the actual fight to lean every possible odd in their favor?

It would seem it's easier to just stack the deck in your favor these days then in recent times. This era is starting to become worst then when the mob had control of boxing.

Ill have to agree, this era is shaping out to be the weakest one yet.

I'd be disrespectful like 'You wearing these 10s, wit' all the padding, shut the fuck up' then proceed to throw the gloves at Maidana. It's Mayweather's fault for trying to remain like some sort of saint. To answer your question though, it's because of money.
