  • Comments Thread For: Viloria Looking Forward To Estrada Title Defense in Macau

WBO/WBA flyweight champion Brian Viloria is looking forward to his title defense against Mexico’s Juan Francisco Estrada at the plush Venetian Hotel and Casino in Macau, regarded as the gambling capital of Asia.

Viloria told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard that “training has been going great” at the Wild Card Gym under Freddie Roach’s assistant Marvin Somodio for the past three weeks but he hasn’t yet started sparring and plans to do that “in the next couple of weeks. We are just into conditioning right now.”

A better fight could've been made with Roman

I'd have preferred Roman, but this should still be a lot of fun.

Viloria should be on the P4P list and not Broner.

There obviously setting up a fight with Roman. I just hope Brian don't f**k up on this. What do you Fellas think about Viloria fighting Roman after this? I've seen Gonzales and he's a fast dude with amazing power. Still got Viloria though.

one comment of the late emanuel steward stuck on me when he was describing villoria early in his boxing career. it was "he's the smallest guy in the us olympic team but also the hardest puncher of the entire team". he was 100% spot on. boy i do miss his commentating
