  • Is Amir Khan P4P the Most Feared Fighter Since Mike Tyson?

Of course it's different in some respects because Tyson was a loose canon and the fear was of a different nature. With Khan, it's a case of boxers realizing that they might have difficulty with Khan's style and speed (if he doesn't fight wreckless) so they rather avoid the Khan fight. Both Mayweather and Broner have avoided him back-to-back so it got me speculating as to the possibility of Khan being one of the most (if not the most) feared fighter since Mike Tyson?

After Tyson lost he was still just as feared by many fighters and so the same scenario remains for Khan - even though he has lost before he still presents a formidable test to any elite fighter in the division and we're seeing even the p4p #1 avoid the fight, along with his protege Broner.

So what do you think? Following Mayweather and Broner avoiding the Khan fight and keeping in mind that he's been ducked previously by Bradley, Marquez, Alexander and Garcia (rematch) - is Khan the most p4p feared fighter around?

Mayweather straight up ducked Amir Khan, Khan is probably the most feared fighter in boxing right now...
With his ferocious speed and damaging combos just ask what Maidana thinks of him he was left crying on the canvas from the sheer power of Khans body punching abilities, Mayweather knows he can't cope with that hence the blatant duck.

Ducked by Mayweather, Bradley and Broner. Whilst Ward is in denial about how Amir beat him up in sparring.

Khan didn't deserve Mayweather, Bradley wasn't offered enough money to fight in the UK.
But anyone noticed that all these are all light punchers that Khan is pursuing? Where are the offers to Lucas and Ruslan?

who else did floyd avoid? cory spinks? how about the old lady across the street? lol

khan never deserved to fight floyd in the first place, thats why floyd didnt fight him. if he had fought khan then he would be avoiding an entire division of more worthy challengers.

nobody avoided khan, everyone wants a piece of him, there isnt more of a low risk high reward fighter out there in any division. thats why floyd considered fighting him, its the easiest fight he could possibly take and still make good money from. eventually he came to his senses and realized there was no way to explain or excuse khan as an opponent and chose a more deserving challenger in maidana.

clearly broner isnt ducking khan either, if you are adrien broner 147 is a shark tank and you just realized that. he is too proud to move down of a loss, he wants to move down on a winning note. but like mentioned there arent a whole lot of name opponents he could actually beat at 147, enter amir khan.

khan is a golden lottery ticket for broner at this stage in his career, you think he would avoid him and risk having to fight ghost, one time or collazo? all harder fights for less money and exposure.

its GBP wo dont want it, they are in lose/lose situation making broner-khan at this stage. they invested tremendously in both fighters, both of whom are in rebuilding stages of their respective careers and cant afford another loss.

khan is literally the least avoided fighter in boxing.
