    .

kobe is still capable of locking down when its needed...it may not be the consistent type of defense from a few years past but the ability is still there

has kobe slipped? he has slightly...but the dropoff isnt as big as some make it out to be

He's certainly got alot left no doubt and like you said can lock in on defense when needed.

Just not at his absolute best.

        nah........

        skillswise kobe is superior.

        in almost everything.

peak for peak kobe is just the better , greater player. wade's not even close.

now if you want to compare prime wade to a past it kobe.....sure it's close.

i give kobe about 3yrs left to keep playing at the level where he's at now

but the way management is going about things, they might burn him out...his minutes are pretty high and it will probably stay that way if he doesn't get any help

          im fearing a playoff burnout

they'll be jockeying for playoff position and wont have the luxury to limit his minutes or sit him jus to preserve those legs

            kobe plays 'til he's 40.

2-3 years at about 25+ point scorer.

then the rest as a 15-20 point scorer.

nah...... chris paul will limit his shots.

he's going to the clippers to help paul/griffin win a title.

                i can see it now.

jim buss offers him a **** (insulting) deal when his contract is up.

he decides to stay in l.a. , go to clippers for mid-level exception.

he'll be 2-guard or small for them. hitting open jumpers and sometimes posting up smaller players.

help clippers win title and f.u. to jim buss and the lakers.

There skillsets are very close prime for prime.

In your opinion what was Kobe's best season ?
