    Berto - Nothing
    wow..

a whole lot of circumstances ignored and some blatant lying to finish things up, classic maniac.

while i think boxers should be allowed to smoke weed all they want, bottom line is it is against the rules. the reason chavez' punishment was so severe is he has been caught before, both failing and dodging tests. dont just ignore that.

beys punishment on the other hand was reduced since he legitimately didnt intend to cheat. he told his doctor he was a boxer and couldnt be on anything illegal, then she gave it to him regardless without him knowing. its his responsibility at the end of the day and he should be punished, at the same time the only thing he did wrong was be too naive. he didnt do anything immoral on purpose and i think its fair to take that into account.

peterson kept his title but he was the only one currently holding a title to begin with, if any of the others were stripped you would have a point but they didnt. so who is to say they wouldnt keep it too?

besides thats the IBFs decision, not the USADA or NSAC. its all IBF, we never seen them in this position before so unless it happens again and they turn around and strip the guy, you have no point. is it wrong by the IBF? ofcourse. but sanctioning bodies pull crap like this all the time (giving belts to guys who dont deserve them). this is the first time its a drugs cheat but to me its not a big difference, either you deserve a title or you dont and peterson isnt the only guy out there with a bull**** belt.

berto was suspended and fined, to say nothing happened is not only a lie but its a bad one at that.

World Boxing Council, International Boxing Federation, etc.) that applies rules and regulations to a boxing match/card.
They are not a 'sanctioning body for the Olympics', they are a anti-doping agency that can be contracted to conduct anti-doping tests in any sport. If Morales doesn't actually serve any suspension, what it means is that the whole 'cleaning up the sport' rhetoric from certain parties in boxing is and was complete and utter bullshit, as there was never any intention to take failed tests seriously in any case. If failed tests bring no consequences, then what is it but a public relations exercise?

The real comparison for Bey is not with Morales btw, it's with Chavez Jr. Both failed the commission test, one for off the charts testosterone levels, the other for diuretics. One gets three months. The other gets seven.
