  • Humberto Soto fights Maidana's replacement-Adailton on Sat, cause Maidana DUCKED Soto

Humberto Soto is fighting Marcos Maidana's replacement (Adailton De Jesus) this Saturday night (Nov. 26, 2011), cause Maidana had refused to fight Soto on HBO (because Maidana is SCARED to fight Soto) this Saturday night.

Maidana ducking Soto is the reason Soto is fighting this unknown fighter.

yet, Soto will be criticized (by most idiots that dont know boxing) for fighting Adailton, but, of course, no one will criticize Maidana for refusing and ducking Soto this Saturday??? Go figure???

Hey, Maidana isnt the only one that has ducked Soto.

1.) Pacman DUCKED Soto for 5 years, since 2006.
2.) Marquez has ducked Soto for 4 years, since 2007.
3.) Barrera, and Morales have both ducked Soto for 4 years, since 2007.
4.) Valero ducked Soto for 2 years
5.) Robert Guerrero has also ducked Soto.

They're all afraid that they would end up like Soto's past opponents, shown in this vid:

      ,,,,

oddly enough, Soto is fighting in Cancun, on the same night Canelo fights in Mexico City, in spite of the fact that both have the same promoter-Golden Boy.

Yet, you will see how many fans Soto has, that will be in Cancun in person to see Soto fight rather than watch Canelo on HBO.

No sir. Valero did not duck Soto. Don't tell that lie. Valero tried to fight anyone and everyone all while not being able to get a license in the US. So don't tell that lie.

Maidana is obviously ducking Soto though. Soto is his freakin mandatory and Maidana is refusing to fight his mandatory. Yeah. That is ducking in full effect.

Or maybe he is trying to get a bigger fight like a Khan rematch rather than waste time with a no name blown up 130lb fighter like Soto.

Maidana has potential fights with Khan or maybe Malignaggi looming. He ain't going to risk those fights to take on Soto at the moment.

Valero did duck Soto many times.
many people dont know this cause DealHoya and Arum , bot pronmoted Valero and had the US boxing media NOT print stories, but in Mexico, many news told the truth, that Soto challenged Valeor many times, and Valero refused, and vacated the WBC 135lbs belt to avoid defending it against his then #1 ranked and manadatory challenger-Soto.

                First time, Valero ducked Soto:
In August of 2009, Bob Arum proposed to have a Soto-Valero clash for the undercard of Pacquiao-Cotto, and Valero chickened-out. Valero packed up his stuff and flew out of the country.
At that time, Valero was living and training in Costa Mesa, California in a gym called South Coast Martial Arts Center (Costa Mesa, CA).
When Arum proposed to have them fight, Valero got scared, packed up his belongings and flew out of town (Costa Mesa, California).
Then he pretended to come back, and told INS officials that he had a DUI/Arrest Loaded Firearm arrest from earlier in the year in Texas.
So, the INS denied his entry, and Valero didnt have to come to Vegas to fight Soto.

                Second time, Valero ducked Soto:
Then Arum re-scheduled Soto-Valero for Dec. 5th 2009, in Cancun, Mexico, that wasy Valero would not have INS VISA "issues", and again Valero chickened-out and ducked Soto.
So Arum cancelled the Dec. 5th show.

                Third time, Valero ducked Soto:
Since Arum couldn’t get Valero to fight on Dec. 5th, in Cancun, Arum (again) re-scheduled the Soto-Valero fight for December 19th, 2009.
                Again, Valero chickened-out .
So, Arum put Valero with a C-level easy fighter vs Hector Velazquez, while Soto fought Valero’s replacement-Jesus Chavez.

                Fourth time, Valero ducked Soto:
In March of 2010, Soto sat ringside at the Valero-DeMarco fight in Monterrey, and after Valero beat DeMarco, Soto challenged Valero to a future fight, and again, Valero chickened-out and ducked Soto, by vacating that WBC Lighweight belt, and had the WBC out Valero “in recess”. Eventually Soto fought David Diaz for the vacant WBC 135lbs belt, cause Valero was too scared to defend it against Soto.

Doubt it. He has a mandatory. Khan already beat him. Bradley ain't gonna fight him. Already fought Morales. Who's left?

Why not fight his mandatory? Oh? Doesn't want to? That's called ducking. Specially when it's a known boxer.

Is Soto on Pacquiao money? No. Still a known boxer though.

Valero didn't duck him. Valero would have put him to sleep and I am a fan of Soto. That is the truth. Valero would have slept him.

I do want to see Soto fight big time but no one wants to fight him. High Risk, low reward. That is the Fox; Humberto Soto.

Too technical, too smart, too good. No one will fight him unless they would earn some big money while losing.
