boxing shorter guy question

A quick question I was sparring a considerably shorter fighter a few days ago and it felt harder to land body shots since of my height advantage (common sense) BUT I was wondering if there's some kind of general rule about this, should a taller fighter not throw body shots because of making yourself vulnerable or...? More of a specific question thanks in advance

Watch Alexis Arguello; very tall for his weight and a tremendous body puncher.
Bob Foster also punched well to the body, as did Sandy Saddler- both of them were tall as well.
