  • Khan will get beaten up badly by Canelo, then won't be able to make 147 afterwards

Khan's career is over, it was great while it lasted. He's been getting big for the Canelo fight, he'll get beat up badly by Canelo, then he won't be able to make 147 anymore and will get beaten again by a lesser name 154 ponder and then its over for him.

It was fun while it lasted Amir.

I've seen bigger welters than Khan, he'll make '47 perfectly fine

It's a myth that once you go up a weight class you can't go back to the lower weight class. Mosley went up to 154 and back down to 147 many times and always fought well when he returned to 147. If a boxer is just too big for a weight class then he should move up a weight class and stay there. If a boxer just bulked up a weight class above his best weight he can always go back down to his best weight if he takes the weight off slowly and properly. Khan says he kills himself to make 147 so maybe 154 is his best fighting weight. I expect Canelo to knock Khan out because he is a better fighter and a hard accurate puncher and size has little to do with it. You don't have to be bigger than Khan to knock him out as Prescott and Garcia clearly demonstrated.

I think Khan plans on retiring after this fight anyway.

Unless he wins then he'll probably fight GGG.

He might just move up to 154. It's equally as competitive. Lara, Andrade, Charlos, Williams, Soro, etc.

To hell with 147. There's nothing in the rule book that says he has to fight there.

There is no money at 154 for khan.

lara, andrade, charlo, williams all bring a potential ass whooping and no millions to show for it. Cotto is the only 154 pounder that makes sense and cents. And we know haymon/roc nation haven't done buisness yet. So no cotto.

His best bet is 147. Brook and garcia bring more money and a better Chance of winning.

Mosley was a juicer so it's likely 154 was an "artificial" weight for him anyway!
