Floyd was #1, he took a sabbatical, then he came back and absolutely dominated the P4P #2 and #3. Is that really so hard to understand?

manny won against hatton and de lahoya in much more impressive manner, using his own style. not floyd's.

and regardless the reason floyd didn;t face cotto or clottey, the fact is he didn't face them.

im sorry, i don't see how those two wins can put him back at the top spot...

      would appreciate cliff dropping by.
you dont see how roach watching the hatton mayweather fight would help get a plan for pac to beat him? then there is probably a lot in life you dont see. and oscar looked just as sharp more than a year later at 147 as he did at 154? have you heard the term weight drained???????

manny was on a streak and never done anything to lose the top spot. in his sabbatical, he was inactive. while manny was dominating.

floyd lost 2 rounds in his last fight. manny lost 2 rounds in his last four.

explain to me how floyd's last two wins is more impressive than pac's streak....

also, watching manny beat marquez, by your logic, means floyd used that to his advantage.

It's funny that some people say Floyd cherry picked the likes of Baldomir, Hatton, Marquez and Mosley yet praise Pacquiao for beating the likes of Morales, De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto. When Floyd fought these fighters they were ontop of their game, when Pacquiao fought them they were either shot or weight drained. It's not excuses it's just fact

The *****'s can't aruge with you mate.

Anyone putting Floyd back as the P4P1 boxer is delusional.

Retiring in sheer fear of a stacked WW division, coming back to spar a fat old lightweight at WW and then decisioning a shot Mosley is not particularly impressive. Especially when you nearly get KTFO.

THen you consider Manny's work in which he has beaten in my eyes better opposition far nearer the primes of their career in Cotto and Clottey.

The two Hatton fights also go to show how DEVASTATING Pac is compared to Mayweather.

I also agree with you on the rounds point. If Manny is such a bad boxer why has he lost only ONE ROUND in his last FIVE FIGHTS including Diaz, Hatton, DLH, Cotto and Clottey. He's also scored 5 knockdowns and 4 stoppages in that time.

Because Floyd was P4P #1, retired, came back and beat the #2 and #3 P4P fighters. In addition, he beat two of fighters, albeit better versions, that Manny has fought during his "streak".

Cotto and Clottey don't put Manny above Floyd. Period.

If this is a fact as you alleged, do you think there is a need for Floyd to demand for a drug test given that pac's previous opponents were either shot or weight drained? So, where does the PEDS come in?
