  • Floyd's next tactic to avoid a fight with Paq

Manny has already called every bluff the Mayweathers and Ellerbe have thrown at him. The only way they can get out of the fight now is to make it appear that Manny does not want the fight. Floyd will get out of this fight in the following manner. Most top fighters fight roughly every six months. There are good reasons for this gap between fights. Fighters take damage to their bodys in training camp and during their fights, and need at time between fights to let themselves heal and stay healthy. Floyd has been averaging about once every 18 months. Floyd fights Ortiz in September, Manny fights JMM in November. Immediately after fighting Ortiz, Floyd will say he wants to fight Manny in four months, which would be January, leaving only two months for Manny between fights. Then one of two things happens, Manny accepts the date and doesnt have a proper amount of time between fight and thereby isnt 100 percent, or he says it is too little time and doesnt take the fight and Floyd and all his fans claim Manny is ducking Floyd.

      Not sure if serious.

But, Pac hasn't called Floyd bluff yet. Floyd is asking for random OST without cutoff. Last contract Pac sent had a 14 day cutoff.

And, furthermore Pac team has made up a silly notion that the USADA is corrupt

If anybody doesn't want the fight. It's seems that it's Pac side.

The thing is that both sides really aren't ducking the other, rather they are capitalizing off their name, and the potential of them fighting each other, as much as possible.

Both sides are taking as many 25-40 million fights as possible and will face each other if:

        A. There are no big money fights left

        B. They feel they are exiting their prime and don't want to face the other if they have lost something.

Sucks for the fans, but the politics and business side of boxing kinda forces both teams to go that route.

The only test that both fighters need to do is to fight each other and everything else is irrelevant. Don't really give a fuck about purse, mental advantage, etc...

            Just fucking fight...

All of Floyd's bluff? I pretty sure you just want attention. Floyd has only one demand and that is for he and Manny undergo OST with no cut-off. That my friend has been the only consistency in this saga.

Interesting scenario. Didn't Mayweather already try a tactic like this for insisting to fight in mid-March in the post-Cotto negotiations? I clearly remember Roach saying he hoped for a date in May and that March was very quick after a tough battle with Cotto. Once Pacquiao accepted the mid-March date, then Mayweather moved on to literally taking Pacquiao's blood.

Team Pac wanted the March date because he was running for Congress in May.....
