buying first speedball

Hi, this is my first thread so forgive me if its in the wrong section or the question has already been answered. I was planning on buying a speedball and i was wondering wether there is a recommended height when fitting it, in relation to the user:e.g having it just above your head. any advice will be much appreciated.

where u from mate? If your in the UK then I can help you with choosing a platform, bag etc. AS far as height goes you want the speedbag/speedball to be level with your face.

sorry for the delay, YES I am from the uk. I would buy the speedball with the platform but its not ideal for my garage (low roof) so i was hoping to attach the ball to my own make shift board.
