Ether, heard any new info on Fallout: new vegas?

It's due out before the end of the year, but i haven't heard anything.

I haven't heard anything new but I thought it was supposed to be released sometime this year. I did hear that it isn't supposed to be the sequel to Fallout 3. This one is supposed to be like a spinoff kinda deal I think.

I just wish they would put at least some effort into graphics. Great game but damn, those aren't next gen graphics.
