      Which ko is more thorough?

Boxing is about getting the job done and heavyweight boxing is pretty much a totally different game because one mistake at the wrong time will punish even the best boxers because these are large powerful men. If you look at heavyweight boxing the same as the rest of the sport the view is immediately flawed. Making it as a heavyweight is about size, range and power, boxing ability while useful is more about accentuating these attributes.

The best bet to survive as a heavyweight is sit at range behind the jab and bomb away when the opportunity arises. Wilder does well and will continue to do well because his attributes fit the game perfectly, which in turn make his flaws very difficult to take advantage of. Someone his size with real power can take advantage but he is just as likely to take advantage of them because Wilder is a unique fighter. Not being textbook does not make someone unskilled, and that is a mistake most people make. Eventually Wilder will be knocked out though just like pretty much every other offensive minded heavy in history, Joshua if he continues to be offensive minded will also be knocked out eventually. Even a fairly responsible guy like Ortiz will more than likely get knocked out.

Lower weight classes are much more forgiving of mistakes, as even the most skillful guy will make their share of mistakes and get tagged. Smaller weight equals less force applied and while a bigger neck can help heavies absorb a bit more punishment the skull and the distance between brain and skull is the same in pretty much all functional humans. Speed plays a larger role because it allows people to take advantage of mistakes and gives a margin for error. However, speed can also allow for someone to be suckered but getting suckered in the smaller classes is not a sure thing for getting a guys head taken off.

It is why if someone says a lightweight fights like a heavyweight it is not really a compliment (to cautious, to dependent on finding that one shot) same as if a heavyweight fights like a lightweight (being in dangerous situations too much). A fish out of water~
Thank you. In bigtime HW boxing, Wilder is highly skilled. He may look a little awkward, he's rangy, fast, and has a big right hand, which is all you need at HW to be very, very good.

wilder because he did it on the counter against a moving target which takes more timing and boxing skill than landing a 1-2 on a guy with his hands down.

I don't know if I would go as far as highly skilled, but he understand what his strengths are and exploits them. Still I think people make way to much about skills because his combination of attributes makes him very difficult to defeat.

Boxing is about making it work, sometimes it looks smooth sometimes it looks funky. People just always need to keep that in mind when they are too stuck on one way of looking at things.

Weve seen haye wobble wilder in sparring already, wilder seems to go quiet when that fight gets mentioned, doesnt seem interested. Is chasing after an old midget in povetkin instead, one of wlads easiest wins.
You act like Wilder is ducking them.

If Povetkin is a midget then so is Pops Ortiz.
