      I like them. Ease of use, simplicity, less moving parts. The drawback being of course ammo capacity.

        I have:

        Beretta PX4 Subcompact 9mm with the extended Magazine 17+1
        Kimber Ultra Carry II 45 with Carbon Fiber Laser Grips.

        Love them both I prefer the Kimber for stopping power but carry the PX4 due to its reliability.

          My H&K only has a 10 round clip. 8 rounds would be enough for a problem though. Im slightly interested in a colt saa but thats gigantic.

            You're a big guy. My little ass has fired S&W X-Frame revolvers. Stop being a sissy la-la.

            But really, unless your hunting big game frequently, or live in bear country, those mega-revolvers are more penis extensions then anything else, in my opinion.

            .357 is pushing it in what I would use as a home defense round as it is.
