I got no problem with 158. It levels the playing field. Better to see the fight than not see it.

Edit: the numbers do not support Mr Lotierzo's assumption. A quick glance at the betting lines suggest that Alvarez-Khan was viewed as more competitive than Golovkin-Lemieux.
Golovkin: -1400
Lemieux: +1100
Alvarez: -500
Khan: +350
