new orleans is the most unique city in the us. if you like culture, you must visit. if you like modern, pretty, and vanilla. dont go there.

I been to the city before the hurricane and i already thought it was a dirty city. I went back 3 years after Katrina and I was surprise at the lack of progress in rebuilding after 3 years. Certain places looked like they had just been hit the day before.

New Orleans is a beautiful town. The French Quarter is gorgeous.

and of course the hoods and outskirts are dirty...

D.C. is ugly once you get outside the tourist areas

who wants squeaky clean? new orleans takes care of itself, like i said if you want dainty and pretty and orderly and vanilla. go to those cities.

if you want real, unique, cultured, independent, unpredictible, go new orleans.

i mean a city known for starbucks or a city know for food and history....hmm

san diego is great......but in a whole different way.
