Yes, in fact when the partition wall went up is when suicide attacks dropped off.
Anybody who says things like "Everyone knows that Israel are the ones in the wrong" are every bit as misguided as people who say "Well all the Palestinians are terrorists".
The truth is that the region has a tortuous and convoluted history. That history needs to be put firmly in the past and a new and conciliatory future embraced by both sides in producing a working peaceful solution involving two fully autonomous and internationally recognised states.
And that solution cannot be found in the battleground. It can only be found at the negotiating table.
