  • Injury / Jump Rope

Hi guys, I need some advice.

Three weeks ago I had removed my meniscus because of an injury. My doctor said me not to train for 5 weeks and then slowly return to train.

Anyone had my same injury? Can you give me some advice?

    tnx

Go slow like your doc advises. I had a friend have a similar surgery, but got nervous as he begin to put on weight. He was an avid runner doing 8-10 miles a day, and started running too soon. He had to have surgery again and had to have this crazy crank thing after the surgery he'd have to turn each day. Nasty stuff. I'd go low impact, do some swimming, light on the elliptical...but stay away from the jump rope for awhile.
