    • can we go over this again.

clean punching- all kotelnik. alexander threw more but missed virtually everything or was blocked.

defense- all kotelnik. he was rarely hit clean while alexander was hit clean over and over.

effective agression-all kotelnik again. he picked his spots to land clean hard punches while constantly backing alexander up.

ring generalship- in the first couple rounds alexander was able to turn kotelnik and make him look like a plodder. in rounds 4-12 kotelnik walked alexander down.

so when we use the actual rules how does alexander win? quite perplexing to me. oh right the rules don't matter the judges are just cardboard cut outs.

Alexander got caught up trying to put on a show for his fans instead of fighting his fight but hopefully one of these 140 guys will grow some balls and come and fight him thinking that they can take advantage of him and end up running into a totally different Alexander
Which is all that matters in boxing. If you don't land a punch it's the same as having not thrown one.

Everybody has a bad night like this, anyways I had Bradley over Alexander before this fight and still have him winning... the problem is a lot of people here complain just because he looked bad in 1 fight... Just remember May/Castillo Pac/Marquez . If he looks like this in his next 2 or 3 fights he sucks... but lets just say it was just a bad night for now...
Neither of them looked bad though. They all looked amazing on those four fights. They looked like what they were, the best fighters in the sport and their divisions battling it out to very close, sometimes badly awarded, fights.

All of them landed good, clean, hard punches, showed good defense, ring generalship....you get the point I'm sure.

They looked amazing against fighters who were just as amazing. Very different than this fight.

...and this has a lot to do with the size of Khan. Compared to Ktelnik, it's like a big WW compared to a normal sized JWW. The size, height and reach, would play a big part in those fights. Maidana is pretty normal JWW whereas Khan is monstrous at 5'10".

yeah but we have HDTV's and different Camera Angles while watching at home, judges are watching the fight from a totally different view compared to what we see at home plus the SLOW MOTIONS we get to see after every round

Alexander just stayed active, every time Kotelnik would land something big Alexander just kept answering back with SOMETHING of his own

He wasn't answering with anything most the time, it's not answering if those punches don't land, it's just looking stupid hitting air and gloves. I don't understand why so many people who DESTROYED Froch for winning the Dirrell fight hitting nothing but air and gloves are all of a sudden giving Alexander credit for the same thing.
