Let me explain, as we all know boxing traditionally has always had 3 judges at ringside scoring a match which I am sure will never change. But we always hear how judges are impacted by the crowd whether its the noise or who knows a good looking woman on the other side of the ring could take a judges eye off the fight during a crucial moment. It's like c'mon judges are only human & half of them probably were around to judge David and Goliath. lol
As a boxing fan, I have seen fights live and then re-watched them with no sound and no distraction from my buddies or Jim Lampley and thought it was a totally different fight or much closer than I originally thought.
So with this said, what if 2 more judges were added (for title fights) but placed in a closed circuit room, sound proof room, and got to watch the fight via T.V.? I think itd be very interesting to see their scores as opposed to the ringside judges...
