This is fifteen years old, but I've only just got round to seeing it in the wake of their comeback: http://www.theguardian.com/music/201...ou-and-i-alone
If you don't know this act, then they're a pair of Fat Yankesses who didn't really have much success in their own country, but were quite popular in Europe. They made music so ****ing gay that even Godzhand would think twice before putting it on a mixtape:
Anyway, they go and play this rock festival, full of filthy, rock-loving Green Teefs who, as soon as they get on stage, spend five minutes continuously trying to hit them with a bottle (or, as Beercules calls it, "Sunday afternoon tea with my sister").
Then, after they finish their first song.... they thank the crowd and do another.
They don't give a ****.
Apparently Slipknot and Rage Against The Machine went and paid their respects afterwards, saying they would have walked off.
This is just the highlights... someone even threw a wheelchair at them.
My respect for these girls just increased a hundredfold.
