Why does Andre Ward want to fight guys from smaller divisions like Floyd and Gennady?

If Golovkin is willing to move down for those fighters, then why can't Andre Ward move down to 160 to fight him?

Of course Golovkin is willing to move down to fight Mayweather considering the purse it would provide him.

Does Golovkin offer anywhere near that kind of money to Ward for him to cut 8lbs of weight?

      Why constantly play dumb?

also wasn't it golovkin that made the claim that he wants everyone from 154 to 168?

Makes much more sense, it would be a bigger fight if Golovkin were middleweight champion.

Golovkin should make sure it's not in California with a shady home referee who lets Ward head-butt, and make sure there's random PED testing or no fight.
Both Golovkin's people and Ward's people know the ideal situation is for Golovkin to beat Martinez first, if he can. Either way, they are talking back and forth like this because the fight is clearly being built up for next year. Even if MW keeps acting like punks, Golovkin will probably end up fighting Ward next year.

Ward keeps saying he wants to fight Golovkin.

If he wants to fight Gennady that bad, he should be willing to fight him at 160, or shut up and wait until after Golovkin fights Martinez.

No, his team said that. I don't think they = the same thing.

And he will. He'd fight Ward now at 160.

But it makes more sense for him to fight Martinez this fall, and become linear MW champ, before moving up to 168. Then a fight with Ward would be much bigger.

But since Ward had Dawson move down, he should be willing to move down for GGG.

Ward is a prima donna who demands all the advantages: California referee, his preferred weight, etc.

Yea, that's been the word for a minute now. But "everyone" is ducking him, though.

Most of the better middleweights have:

                    Martinez, N'Jikam, Quillan, Sturm, Geale

Ward said he wanted JCCjr or a rematch with Froch. He never called out Floyd or GGG. GGG's team said he would fight the best from 154 to 175 and Ward said he would accept the challenge, then they backed off.
