I wouldn't trust Robert Garcia as far as I could throw him. They haven't done anything wrong here though. All is episode shows is that Mayweather can say literally anything, no matter how far-fetched, and some people will believe him.
Part of it comes from the platform he has and the power he has to set the narrative. Just look at last night, all the videos that came out initially were Floydhype clips that focused on Floyd giving his side of the argument (no sign of Seckbach for some reason).
But it's also impossible to ignore the fact that some people just switch off their critical filter when Mayweather says anything. Everything is accepted at face value, no matter how often he has been shown to contradict himself in the past.
