People aren't understanding this thread. What thje OP is saying is that if Froch did win the tourney undefeated then his resume would be sick!

If! Remember, IF! They're not saying he will just IF!

    Reid
    Pascal
    Taylor (twice)
Abraham (KO - only way this fight ends imo either man will get a KO)
Kessler (KO - same as above)
    Ward
    Dirrel

That would be a pretty sick resume all told. Especially if he topped it off by icing Bute once the man takes of his running shoes ha ha ha!

That's fine, but many of us are just saying it's unrealistic. You could sub out Froch's name with any of the participants and their resumes would be very comparable to Calzaghe's if they were to run through undefeated. Not to say they would be seen as better--after all, Kessler has lost to the man head-to-head, but the list of big wins would be comparable.

It would never happen, but if Jermain Taylor swept through this thing, he would have a Hall of Fame-worthy resume.

        Don't be so stupid.

Taylor will not beat another top fighter for the rest of his career. I love how you discredit Froch but then turn around and say '.....but if Taylor wins'.

Like Taylor has more chance than Froch.

Either way, Taylor should never be considered to even have a chance of winning this tournament.

He's there to make up numbers for the Americans.

It's a huge IF, I don't see him remaining undefeated tbh.

Carl Froch would be greatly served by doing 4 things -

                1) Keeping his hands up
                2) Not throwing those wide looping punches and getting off balance
                3) Sticking to the jab, jab, right (When he used this against Taylor, he was getting through)
                4) Moving his head

His power, aggressiveness, and great chin, are great attributes to have. If he only tightened up his style and implemeted some of the above into his game, he would be much harder to outbox.

Calzaghe doesn't have to worry. Frotch ain't gonna win the tournament.

That English guy Carl Froch may have kicked Jermain Taylor's ass, but let's not go crazy over the guy just yet. Mikkel Kessler will easily beat him.

Also, Froch could never beat world-class fighters such as Chris Eubank and Bernard Hopkins.
