Floyd Mayweather is a pretty big fan of capitalism I'd imagine.
I have to agree with this. The pife style that Floyd and man others like him espouse is an extremely capitalistic approach to life.

Remember...it's not about Floyd. The topic here is the fans who prefer Floyd over Pacquiao. Who prefer Ward over GGG. Who prefer Broner over a Maidana.

Though Floyd himself keeps supporting Obama irrationally, even though is the guy who is taking more money out of his pocket than a 50/50 split with Pacqiao ever could. I'd rather give 50% of revenue to a fellow hard working fighter, than 35-38% to Uncle Sam.

While those boxing fans who prefer the more aggressive, come forward, pressure, brawler slugger are Right-Wing Conservative, Pro-Free Market Capitalism.
78% Mexican-Americans voted for Democrats, yet only 44% of Cuban-Americans voted for them, so there goes that argument.

And he didn't exactly break any compubox numbers in his career for punches thrown or landed. He just lays back as comfortably as he can and reacts off of what the blue collar guy is throwing at him.
You can make the argument that counter punchers work "smart" like a capitalist. Hours being the equivalent of punches in this scenario, What's smarter? Having income coming in from your rental properties, which is hardly much work or working 2 fast food jobs and putting in 60 hours a week?

Did that study show if they're boxing fans? Because that's what we're talking about....not Mexicans.

Yes, Floyd is smart. Wlad is smart....but we're talking about the fans, not the fighters per se though you made a good counter-analogy to my James toney entitled type analogy.

Btw, Wlad is smart in how he fights but he is NOT slick, technical in a Westernized sense. I believe that this is one smart working fighter that actually attracts conservatives. The leftists are playa hating on Wlad because he is dominating like a prime Roy Jones but doesn't look as cute doing it with all the shoe shining and westernized clowning tactics that are intended to entertain the masses.

Excellent point, I didn't realize that.

But with Mexicans it's safer to assume because they're fans of macho aggressive brawling and the amount of kissing up non-Mexican fighters do to get their approval show a good chunk are fans as well. 78% voted left, so there is a big chance. Assuming being the key word here of course.

Floyd Mayweather (Leftists/Liberals/Progressives/Socialists) VS Manny Pacquiao [Right/Conservative, Capitalist, Small Govt]

Adrian Broner [Left-wing] Vs Maidana [conservative right]

Feel free to cite other examples
