Polish light heavyweight Andrzej Fonfara (21-2, 12 KOs) recently spoke to Matt Borek about his childhood idol and good friend Andrew Golota (41-8-1, 33 KOs). He says the 44-year-old heavyweight is still in training and looks very good in the gym. Golota has not fought since a stoppage loss to countryman Tomasz Adamek in October 2009. There are indications that Golota still wants to return to boxing.

golota always been one of my favorites. i wouldn't mind seeing him fight another 40 year old heavyweight like oliver mccall or francois botha.
