When he tells me to **** off, does that mean I get to claim I was "ducked" by Wladimir Klitschko?

Briggs is the new Charlie Zelenoff!
You'd need to rack up a few quality wins first. Then we can talk.

As much as I like Briggs and respect his attempt at a comeback, I would adamantly oppose Wladimir granting him a title shot at this point. As some other posters stated, there are many more contenders out there that deserve a shot more than Briggs.

When you give an undeserving opponent a title shot, then it encourages other fighters to avoid taking risks and fighting the best opponents. Overall, it's not a good thing for boxing

David Haye talked his way to a Wlad fight, why not Briggs?

Haye was worthy. Unified cruiser champ and he was the current WBA HW champion. He talked his way to a fight but also had the credentials.

I bet Briggs wouldn't blame his toe after Wlad beat him down though!

David Haye, so much talent, pity he's such a bellend.

              *edit*

If my memory serves correctly, didn't Wlad agree to fight him before he took that paper belt off the giant? I'm sure he did, but then someone pulled out, can't remember who.

                Haye pulled out.

But Haye was much more qualified then, than Briggs is now.

There's a difference between journeymen (Haye fought Barrett in 2008) and bums (Briggs just fought Carmack).

#1 Fanboy. Hair probably supported the Rod Salka-Danny Garcia fight too!

Briggs comeback seems to be a circus. Ask me again after he fights someone in the top 50.
